Salvation in the Lord

How to be Saved

1. Realize your need for salvation

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romams 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Revelations 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelations 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

2. Recognize the source of salvation

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

3. Repent (A sincere change of the mind and heart. A willingness to leave the sinful life and turn to God for salvation.)

Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Ezekiel 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

4. Receive Jesus Christ for Salvation

Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If you realize right now that you have sinned, and believe that Christ loved you and died on the cross to pay your sin debt, would you bow to him in prayer and ask him to save your soul from hell and make you his child?
